Our Services
From everyday plastering and rendering to specialist heritage lime work - find out what we can do for your property.
A Complete Plastering Service
We cover all aspects of the trade, from a quick skim of a newly built wall to a full lime render restoration on a Grade II-listed building.
Every project is different. We take the time to understand what you need, use the right materials and products for the job, and work cleanly and efficiently on site. That's why so many of our customers come back to us - and recommend us to their neighbours.
Our work takes us across Ilfracombe, Barnstaple, Braunton, Lynton and throughout North Devon. For specialist heritage and spray cork projects, we're happy to travel further afield.
Everything We Offer
All the plastering, rendering and heritage skills you need under one roof.
Heritage & Lime
We specialise in lime plastering and traditional lime rendering for period and listed properties - breathable systems that protect the fabric of older buildings. With experience across Grade II-listed properties and historic Devon farmhouses, all our heritage work uses appropriate lime mortars, hair-reinforced renders and finishing plasters to meet conservation standards.
Plastering & Skimming
From full re-plasters to small patch repairs, we deliver consistently smooth, paint-ready finishes. British Gypsum certified and with over 20 years of experience, we work with all major systems and take preparation seriously - no shortcuts on bonding agents or suction control.
Rendering
We install a range of render systems - traditional sand and cement, thin-coat monocouche, silicone and ISOLOCORK® spray cork - to protect your home from the harsh North Devon coastal weather and give it a clean, long-lasting finish. As certified ISOLOCORK® applicators, we can also offer this innovative, breathable and highly insulating system for both modern and period properties.
Damp Proofing
Damp needs to be correctly identified and treated before any plastering work begins. We diagnose the source of moisture ingress, apply specialist damp-proof plasters and renders, and use breathable systems where appropriate for older properties - getting it right first time to prevent recurring issues.
Screeding & Floor Levelling
A flat, well-laid screed is the foundation for any floor finish - tiles, wood, vinyl or underfloor heating. We install sand and cement screeds for new builds, extensions and renovations across North Devon, getting the preparation and mix ratios right so your floor performs for years to come.
Spray Cork Applicator Training
We run an accredited ISOLOCORK® applicator training programme for plasterers and rendering contractors who want to add spray cork to their services. Courses cover product knowledge, application technique, preparation and finishing - and lead to full certification to take on commercial and domestic projects.

Yes - heritage and conservation work is a speciality. We use appropriate lime mortars, hair-reinforced renders and breathable finishing plasters to meet conservation standards, and have extensive experience with Grade II-listed properties across Devon.
We install traditional sand and cement render, thin-coat monocouche, silicone render and ISOLOCORK® spray cork render. We'll recommend the right system based on your property type, substrate and budget - and make sure the preparation is done properly before a drop of render is applied.
Signs include tide marks, efflorescence (white salts on the wall), bubbling paintwork or a persistently cold or musty wall. We can assess the cause before any work starts - treating the source correctly is essential for a lasting result, particularly in older properties where breathability matters.
Yes. We carry full public liability insurance, are CHAS registered, Guild of Master Craftsmen members, and British Gypsum certified plasterers. We take health and safety seriously on every site, for our team and for our customers.
